Mountainview's Second Annual Horse Show *CLOSED*

it's about time eh? xD well since my last one was almost two years ago I figured it was about time for the next "annual" show <.<"


THE SHOW

Welcome to Mountainview farms! This farm is over 300 acres of green, rolling hills, woodlands, and small intertwines streams that meet in a small waterfall on the pond. We have the top competitors of Neonfires, Deyonic Demon Horses, and the most head shaking Tennessee Walkers in DA. We invite you to join us on a fun event for all horses of any age with fun, prizes, and tons of competition. Have fun and enjoy your stay on the farms.

Make sure to drink lots of water and keep bugspray and sunscreen handy, it's hot and humid here in Alabama and the mosquitoes are not going to let up for just one week long show. Also look out for those lovely noshoulders that tend to show up in the dusk and dawn, most aren't poisonous but the black racers will chase you though they are harmless they are terrifying if you're afraid of snakes.

HALTER
will be split into mare and stallions if I get 10 entries or more.

FOAL HALTER
will be split into filly and colts if I get 10 or more entries
horses under 2 years old, shown in a halter without a bit, if under 6 months old then with mother, mother may be judged in the mares class too, +5 points if handler is shown

LIBERTY

DRESSAGE
horses of ages 4 and up, shown with correct dressage tack and with rider in a riding suit and either helmet or top hat, horses who have never shown should preform simple movements while ones who have multiple times can preform more complex movements, riders 15 and up, usually preformed to music

SHOW JUMPING
horses 4 and up, riders 15 and up, shown with correct english attire in a riding suit with a helmet, jumps can be smaller for green horses or larger for experienced horses. +5 points for the most creative jump

CROSS COUNTRY
horses 4 and up, riders 15 and up. shown in correct english attire, a little looser on saddle and bridle standards , can wear T shirts and riding pants because it is hot in the forest in Alabama,  will ride through the forest trails of mountainview, over fallen logs and a small stream, will jump a fence into an empty paddock and over the other side to the finish line, +5 for showing any of mountainview's horses in your pic

FLAT RACING*

SADDLESEAT/GAITED*

REINING
horses ages 3 and up, will do an exciting, fast paced show of agility and speed with sharp spins and sudden stops. western attire and tack. +5 for wearing a red, white, and blue saddle pad.

BARREL RACING
horses ages 3 and up, riders 15 and up, race around 3 red, white, and blue barrels for the fastest time, +5 points for putting a dragonfly in your picture anywhere, western attire and tack

CUTTING

POLE BENDING
horse 3 and up, riders 15 and up,  western attire and tack, horses will gallop to the end of a line of poles turn sharply and weave down and back through them and gallop back as quickly as possible, +5 points if you have a red,white, and blue saddle pad.

ENDURANCE
horses 4 and up, riders 15 and up. a retively short for endurance 23 mile race through the forests of alabama and to a resident pond, optional attire, you'll want something comfy, horses can be showing any gait as long as it covers ground. +5 if you show your horse and rider on the shore of the pond

TRICK CLASS

WESTERN VS. ENGLISH
