Mountainview's 3rd Annual Show Results

Hello again! it's that time of year for the third year in a row! Time for a good ol' horse show
I am hoping this year the show will be a success just as it has been the past two years and maybe have an even better turnout than them as well!
Now then, the show takes place in Ironaton, Alabama during the winter but don't dream of snow because the temperature will stay at around 45 degrees (F) during the day and the temperature will drop to around 25 degrees through the night. Most of the trees have already lost all of their leaves but those who haven't are a beautiful orange or red color. The classes will take place in our farm's large covered outdoor arena (examples here:
twhnc.com/content/wp-content/u… ) the outdoor classes (cross country, endurance, etc) will take place throughout the entire farm, and the flat race will be held in a neighboring thoroughbred farm's dirt race track.

No pre-registration required though you may if you would like to
backgrounds are not required but are a big plus in judging
Horses of all breeds are welcome (natural and unnatural)
please try to use the correct tack on your horses for the class they are entering
No pre-made linearts please
full body not required or shading but will help on effort scoring
If you use a picture reference, please link it somewhere in your description
In your image please state your horse's name, rider, and class or any other important info.

Halter
Horses over 2 years old
The horse is lead around the arena at a walk and a trot and the poses for a conformation shot. Handlers do not have to be shown. If there is over 10 entries it will me split into mare and stallion.

Any horse under 2 years old, if under 6 months then mother must be lead with the foal. Mother can also be judged in the adult class if you would like. Class takes place just like the normal halter except it is for foals, if there is more than 10 entries I will split it into filly and colt classes

Horses of any age are set free into the arena to do whatever they please, they wear no tack, and preform to music. If it gets 10 entries I will split it into mare and stallion and if over 5 foals then I will split them into a foal liberty class

Horses 4+
This particular show is freestyle dressage, where the horse and rider preform various gaits and maneuvers around a square ring to music. English tack and attire is required and songs are optional but preferred.

Horses 4+
Horse and rider jump many creative jumps that are both flashy and exciting for spectators to watch horses jump over. Jump designs are up to you but a creative jump will give 5 bonus points ^^ english tack and attire

Horse and rider take a journey around Mountainview's back trails through the forest and the mare's pasture, jumping over various natural looking obstacles. english attire for both horse and rider

Horses 4+
Take a 25 mile trek around the farm and on to the national forest near by, running like mad through the trails to get to the next check point. Horses and riders will receive a vet check before, half-way, and after the race to make sure they are okay to continue (drawing this is optional but counts as a bonus image) English or trail type attire allowed, really anything that gets the job done in this class

Horses 3+
horses will preform the walk, trot, and canter around the ring both ways. English attire and tack obviously. Gaited horses may replace the trot with their special gait. If enough entries I will separate into two classes

We will borrow the neighboring thoroughbred farm's turf track for this. correct racing attire required. You may use this as a sprint race, mile race, or even a harness race because I know those are hard to find. You may choose your number and use your barns silks or make up them, I don't mind ^^

English attire and tack. Like showjumping but with lower jumps. Horses manes must be braided, tails may as well but are optional.

Horses 3+
This is the class that the arena was originally built for. Horses preform two special gaits of different speeds and then the canter both ways around the ring. Non-gaited horses preform the walk, trot, and canter. These horses should be flashy movers and they have english attire with their riders dressed to the nines.

singles, doubles, or multiple horses pull a cart around the ring in a specific pattern set for them to complete. Horses will preform the walk, trot, and canter as well. Normal carraige harnesses and english attire for drivers, braids optional

Horses preform a specific pattern showing the amazing agility and communication between horse and rider. Western tack and attire is a must. Often this is preformed to a song so that would be nice to add in, though it is optional to add.

Horse and rider will separate one heifer calf from a herd of 15 calves and attempt to cut if off from getting back to the others as many times as possible within a certain amount of time.

Horse and rider preform the walk, trot, and canter both ways around the ring. In gaited horses, the trot is replaced with the preferred gait. Western attire and tack is a must.

Various other western classes (pole bending, speed barrels, key hole, etc) western tack and attire is a must. If there is over 5 entries of a specific class, I will split that one into it's own class.

Horses 3+
Reining and dressage clash in a battle of power between the two most different styles of riding. Very much like Pas De Deux except instead of two dressage horses, it's a reining horse and a dressage horse. This entry may be a collaboration and will be counted towards both horses if they win.
